SOPs: write your procedures once, and the assistant follows them. Add them in Settings → SOPs. An SOP can also run as its own agent, starting from an inbox email, a booked shipment, an accepted quote or a daily check. It drafts what it would do for a person to approve. An SOP's lanes can name airports, ports, countries, states or postal codes.

Contracts. Buy contracts with a carrier and sell contracts with a customer, each with its own terms, status and rates. A rate or an imported rate sheet goes into the contract you pick. The contract's dates decide which rates a quote can use.

See what a cost change reaches. A new carrier cost shows which sell rates, customers and open quotes it affects, and proposes the sell price that keeps each margin. Send a customer their rate sheet as PDF or Excel.

Agents for sales, booking and tracking. A Sales agent turns an emailed quote request into a priced draft, or asks the customer for what is missing. A Booking agent prepares each complete shipment's booking request for one click and follows up with the carrier. Heavy shipments and quotes ask their carriers for a spot rate. Tracking agents draft the next email for each tracking exception, in the recipient's language.

Agents for finance. Agents draft invoices once a shipment reaches its billing event, remind customers before and after an invoice is due, and email monthly statements. Another warns a customer before their credit limit pauses bookings. Others ask carriers to extend expiring rates and draft a rate review on lanes priced above the market.

Margin floor alerts. Quotes and shipments priced under cost or under your margin floor show up in Needs attention, can be filtered in the lists, and warn you before a quote is issued.

More control over quotes. Extend an issued quote's valid-until date, price any leg by hand, and send to the customer straight from the quote builder. A revised quote links to the one it replaces. Filter quotes by lane. The Incoterm's named place is filled in from the route.

Correct a shipment in transit. A manager can make a correction with a reason, swap a leg's party and choose which of its saved addresses to use. Filter shipments by country or world region, or ask the assistant for "shipments to Latin America".

HS code suggestions from the goods description, in English, Spanish or Portuguese.

Parties keep their other names. "NYK Logistics Americas" finds Yusen Logistics, and short forms like "K+N" find their party. Deleted entries can be shown and restored.

Your customers get more in the portal. A Billing page shows their statement and open invoices, and a Rates page shows the last rate sheet you sent them. They can manage their own account, read help in your brand, and share a shipment's public tracking link.

Dispute a bill line with the carrier from the bill page. Credit memos show their refunds, which can be voided.

Settings save as you change them.

Ask the assistant to "copy last week's shipment to Bogota", or to read a received FWB beside your own.

Help search understands what you mean, and a Help button beside a page's title lists its guides.

More agents, one per area of the work. A Finance agent scores how each customer pays and flags likely defaults with its reasons. An Accounting agent drafts one overdue-summary email per customer. A Warehouse agent picks up receipts that were never quoted or shipped, drafts their invoices and tells customers when storage starts. A Pickup & delivery agent warns before a run's cut-off and proposes a new time for a missed pickup. Any record an agent works can be taken back.

Rate sheets are read from their layout. A workbook of any length is read tab by tab. Cost sheets are read as buy rates and sell tariffs as sell, and the review screen names each row's currency, lane and Confidence. A rate says when it is expiring soon and whether another rate takes over its lane.

One Pricing workspace. Rates, Rate sheets, Charges, Markups and Tax formulas are tabs, each with its own link, and markup groups are managed in one place.

Reports gather on one hub. Every report has one period picker, a comparison to the previous period and an Export menu. Click an aging amount or a trial-balance account to see what is behind it. New reports: Margin by lane (including per chargeable kilo), Receipt to handover, Quote turnaround and Lost quotes, with the reason each was lost.

The dashboard leads with Revenue MTD, Gross margin %, In transit, Open quotes and Unbilled, plus a Recent activity card.

See who did what. Admins see each teammate's sign-ins, sessions and actions. Invoices, bills and shipments carry an Activity timeline, and invoice Activity shows when the email was delivered.

Invoices and bills side by side with their source. New invoice shows a live preview on the billing branch's letterhead. A bill sits beside the carrier's invoice, with match suggestions on each line. Not billed groups drafts by customer, with Review and send all.

Needs attention lives in Inbox → Exceptions. It raises missed pickups, air legs past the flight they were first booked on, and receipts holding unbilled charges. Each item opens its record.

File a claim from the shipment. A claim against a liable carrier posts both the customer's credit memo and the recovery.

The customer portal has a new dashboard, searchable lists, and one shipping request for several warehouse receipts. Quote detail shows the total, the expiry and Accept / Decline together.

Print IATA 606 piece labels for air cargo. A waybill is checked against its pieces and weight before it issues. CN22 and CN23 tick the 2026 UPU categories and print in French and English.

Drivers get a morning day sheet, and an email when a run is assigned, changed or called off.

A grouped main menu: Daily, Finance and Setup.

Ask the assistant who changed a record, what the team did today, or a what-if on volume or cost.

Agents that follow up for you. One nudges customers who have not answered a sent quote. One follows up on shipments with no recent tracking update and drafts the delay notice. One lists what blocks a booking and fills in the rest from past shipments. Name each agent and run it now. A customer's reply lands on the agent's run, and a person can resume it.

Suggestions from past work. A new quote, shipment, receipt, pickup, door leg, invoice or bill is offered what this customer or vendor usually has. A new party offers the existing one it looks like. One switch turns suggestions off.

Driver orders, filled from the leg. The order carries the carrier's delivery address and hours, the pieces, the cut-off and a QR code. Delivery addresses can be set for passenger or freighter legs, and you can set your own cut-off.

Richer air tracking from FSU messages. A Manifested milestone, the flight and ULD on each event, airports by city, and the delivery date on a finished shipment. Public tracking shows a milestone stepper beside a map.

On-time uplift: did legs fly on the flights they were first booked on? Reported by airline and lane, and shown as a dashboard tile.

Routed via stops, flight by flight. A via-rate leg asks for a flight on each sector, and the AWB and FWB carry each one. Book (FFR) shows the message before it is sent and lets you edit it. Each airline's message address is set in Settings, and a charges-collect leg the airline refuses is flagged.

A quote past its valid-until date expires, and Reopen gives it a new date. Validity defaults to 30 days. Freight and Line haul are services.

Palletise receipt cargo, add pieces to a receipt, or split it. Pickups & Deliveries is a board by direction.

Your branches can be a leg's shipper or consignee, and carry their dock hours.

Settings has its own sidebar and search. Team shows when each member was last active. Security lists where you are signed in. The audit log has filters. There is an API reference.

The shipments list has one filter bar with saved views.

Your customers see your brand on the portal sign-in and invite.

Operations is now Messages — every Cargo-IMP message in and out, over SITA and email. An FFR carries volume, dimensions, stacking and agent exactly as the standard specifies, with decimals in the standard's format; the FWB names every ULD on its own rate line; RCS, FOH and FSU statuses parse as the standard says, with shipper named and ULD owners carried by airline designator. The booking conversation appears on the shipment timeline, from request through confirmation to booking.

Tracking times are the station's clock. Every scan and status is stored at the instant it happened, in the timezone of the airport or facility where it happened. FSU times follow the station, DEP is dated by actual departure, and split MAN/DEP events stay separate. An airline's BKD fills the leg's flights automatically, and every booking leaves one BOOKED milestone. An airline's RCS tenders the leg and keeps the airline's shipment count alongside ours.

"Gone quiet" is configurable. The alert takes a number of days — defaulting to one — and can be set to ignore events entered by hand.

The voice assistant is smoother. A spinner shows while the mic is waking; a red indicator appears once it is listening. The mic light in the browser goes out between turns. Each turn is heard to the end, the session stays open through pauses, and pressing Escape discards a turn without ending it.

Carrier messaging reads your own mailbox. The reader takes each email once, sets aside mail it can't use, and files what it has read. Carriers can be removed from and added back to the list. The Add Carrier button sits on the list it adds to, and the mailbox form lays out in rows.

"Segment" has left the interface. The app now calls it a Route of legs everywhere.

Pages and lists are noticeably faster. The AP bills tab, unbilled-cost queue, shipment list, and bill variance panel respond in under a second. Detail pages load only what is on screen.

The assistant is more precise. The leg view shows the USPS service name.

A leg can be held at a carrier location. The hold address is found with a search that already knows the destination; the leg is priced at the held rate, which removes the surcharges a door delivery would carry; and the pick travels from quote to shipment to booking without re-entering anything.

The waybill and bill of lading carry more of what you already entered. A draft shows what the waybill will contain before it is issued, the rate rows are seeded from the table the operator typed, and the bill of lading itemises the charges it carries.

Duty formulas are written once, named, and assigned per carrier, service and country. A carrier publishes its own formula, and a tenant can state their own override; a formula covers only the lane it names and flags a gap rather than filling it silently.

The pickup collection form asks only for what the shipment doesn't already know. The note field is placed next to the address, and USPS lets you know when drop-off is still free before you commit to a collection.

A DHL shipment's goods description is drawn from the piece declaration.

The tracking board answers what departed yesterday. Its Customer column is searchable, and the receipts list finds a receipt by the customer named in its own column.

An unremitted balance proposes its own recovery, with a screen to carry it out. The collections board names who is collecting each open item.

A locked piece can be corrected, with the reason recorded. Link a warehouse receipt to a quote by its number, its customer, or its tracking number, and the assistant will copy a receipt when you name the customer.

Entities reach QuickBooks carrying their tax identifier. The sync ledger is on screen and pairs both directions.

A carrier request naming a code you already carry is refused, and says which one. The notifications setting on a contact appears for the roles that can receive them.

Every account starts with a Standard service level, mapped to each carrier and offered first on a quote.

Connect your QuickBooks company. Documents post across as they hit the ledger, and a payment recorded in QuickBooks closes the matching invoice. A branch maps to a QuickBooks Location, customer refunds post as cheques, and a reconciliation view shows where the two sides disagree.

Drop a carrier's invoice on the AP page and get a bill from it. Delimited and XML carrier exports are read as the carrier writes them. A cost variance owes a decision and has a queue of its own, approving a bill writes what the parcel actually cost, and a multi-piece leg settles per parcel because the carrier's invoice already names them.

An LTL tariff has the shape a published tariff has. It rates by freight class, prices per hundredweight, floors at its minimum charge, and carries FAK bands that price the classes they name. A cell can be a rate per kilo, per 100 kg, or a price per linear foot, and a published tariff imports as a matrix. Capacity rules for linear feet and cubic capacity redirect the price, and a piece says whether it may be stacked.

Declare dangerous goods against a UN-number catalog. Seeded from 49 CFR. A package declares its net quantity and is checked against the published air limit at tender, and a quote prices the per-UN-number fee from the numbers the cargo carries.

See what has shipped and has not been billed. Delivered and never invoiced is a state the product can see. A customer payment is recorded and a mistake is taken back, and work in progress accrues when the freight moves.

A half-built quote parks on the server and is found by its customer's name. An all-in rate is checked against the cost it claims to contain. A charge billed at cost is priced from the cost side, and an edited quote keeps its through-rate, its service lines and its manual prices.

Every rate change says who made it. Rates, surcharges, markups, FX overrides, sheet charges and zone grids each carry the name behind the change. An expired surcharge says so on the day a quote stops paying it, and one Add-rate wizard prices a set of lanes and shows every pair first.

Insure a leg, and see what insuring it does before you commit. Cover is capped at the value of the goods, and a carrier that sells no cover says so.

Publishing next month's price is a new version, so a quote sent last month reprices at last month's number. The list shows what each rule costs today and how soon that runs out.

Scope a surcharge to the traffic it applies to. A rule can name a lane, a mode, a service type, a commodity and a carrier. A rate shows both the surcharges attached to it and the ones its lane matches, and each charge line on a quote or shipment names the rule behind it.

A surcharge can carry a minimum charge. A percentage rule floors at an amount you set, in the currency of the charge.

Dangerous goods price by class. A rate or a surcharge names the UN classes it covers — the twenty classes and divisions the regulations define, grouped under their nine headings — and prices the cargo those classes cover.

A UN fee prices per distinct UN number. Charge one amount for the first UN number on a shipment and a lower one for each additional, the way air carriers publish it.

Quote by service tier. A rate names which of a carrier's service tiers it prices, the rates list shows it, and a quote can ask for a tier by name.

A rate can price several airframes. Each aircraft type carries its own payload, door and per-piece limits, and cargo that exceeds a per-piece cap marks the rate ineligible.

Declare a via routing while creating the rate. Direct is the default, and the rates list says which routing each rate prices.

Copy a rate, or create many at once. A copy opens as an editable draft in the source's state, and a bulk create reports each rate it made.

Declare what is inside each piece. A piece carries its own commodity lines — description, country of manufacture, HS code, value and the currency that value is in. Ten identical cartons are typed once: declare one, then copy its contents onto the rest. The carrier's customs declaration reads those lines.

Buy courier labels for a multi-piece shipment. Every box gets its own label under one booking. The run continues in the background, and a retry picks up from the next box, keeping the labels already bought.

House and master air waybills are separate records. Each carries its own goods description, currency, prepaid and collect terms and other-charges breakdown. A corrected waybill number reaches the lookup as well as the paper.

Say who pays the duty, and on what terms. The booking states the duty payer, and an Incoterm carries its named place.

Tax identifiers are checked the way they are issued. Brazilian, Uruguayan, Colombian and Paraguayan registrations validate on their own check digits. Postal codes are accepted in the format the document prints and sent in the format the carrier expects, and addresses in Trinidad and Tobago, Bolivia and Libya are complete without one.

Rates price per kilo or per pound. A rate states its weight unit and the units its dim factor is in. Weight breaks cover the whole weight axis with the boundary named on the form, and a break can price as a total for its range rather than per unit.

Say what aircraft a rate flies on. Define the aircraft your rates fly on, attach them to a rate, and mark a leg with the airframe it moves on. Body type reads as a passenger-aircraft field.

Branches carry the cargo. A warehouse location, a rack and a leg each belong to a building, and the first branch adopts the racks that predate it. A leg whose pieces sit in two buildings names that as its origin question.

Say how each charge is collected. Prepaid or collect is stated on the charge, and the documents print it.

Copy a warehouse receipt. The copy leaves behind what the original is committed to. A receipt is in one currency.

Choose the label stock and your thermal printer's settings. Insurance cover is chosen on the leg being quoted, and a repeated cheque number is confirmed before it is accepted.

A dutiable shipment asks for the tax ID at quote time, not at the border. Send dutiable cargo to a consignee in Brazil or Mexico, or out of the United Kingdom, and the quote names the registered identifier that party needs — a CNPJ, an RFC, a VAT number — while you are still building it. The label cannot be bought until the number is on file. It travels to FedEx with the shipment and prints under its own scheme name on the commercial invoice and the customs declaration.

Schedule a FedEx pickup from the label-buy screen. Ask for a pickup or send the parcel to a FedEx drop-off point, and choose from the days and time windows FedEx offers for the network your service ships on. The pickup is requested once the label is in hand.

Documents print the parties the shipment was booked with. Update a customer's record and the paperwork you already issued stays as it was — commercial invoices, customs declarations, bills of lading, sea, rail and air waybills, packing lists, certificates of origin, arrival notices and warehouse receipts all print the shipper, consignee, notify party and agents as they stood when they were assigned to the leg. Billing invoices and quotes read the live customer record.

Your carrier's own notes on a rate come through. Special handling flags, service caveats, a value the carrier rewrote — they appear on the rate picker and stay with the saved quote. A notice the carrier marks as blocking stops the purchase, and a FedEx rejection at booking names the address field it objected to.

Quote and label price the same shipment. A parcel's declared value and the pickup you asked for both reach the FedEx price shown at buy time and the price the label is bought at.

Multi-piece parcels track box by box. When a carrier scans each box of a shipment separately, your operators, your customer's portal and the public tracking page each read one timeline per box. A courier delivery scan completes the shipment on FedEx, UPS, DHL and USPS, and a parcel held at a FedEx, UPS or USPS counter reads "ready for pickup".

Get told when something does not happen. A new Tolerances section composes the rule as a sentence you would say: flag an air-courier shipment that has not departed a day after its planned pickup, or one that has gone quiet for three days. Shipments that trip it raise an exception on Needs attention, checked daily.

Delivery Orders record who took the cargo. Type the recipient's name and capture their signature on screen — touch, stylus or mouse — when you mark the order delivered, and the document re-issues carrying both. A printed order leaves the "Received by" block empty for ink.

Warehouse receipts can be split, released, billed and deleted. Split a receipt when only part of it ships, release cargo to a collector from your entity list, bill its charges onto a draft invoice when cargo is collected rather than shipped, and delete a receipt — refused by name whenever something depends on it. Release orders can be raised from a shipment's Documents tab.

Rate sheets import their surcharges. A rate-sheet import pulls in the surcharge block under the lane rates and names any line it could not take. Every rate carries at least one weight break.

Ask about your pricing from the command bar. Look up a contract rate, fee rate, storage tariff or duty rate by voice or from the command bar, propose a change, and open the rate wizard filled in from a lane you spoke. Every pricing change arrives as a card you confirm.

Run several branches under one organization. Each branch carries its own name, logo, legal identity, and tax registrations, and you switch the branch you're working in from the sidebar. Operational documents — bills of lading, waybills, air waybills, manifests, loading guides, shipping instructions, commercial invoices — issue under the branch that owns the shipment, reference numbers can take a per-branch prefix, and mail goes out from that branch. Receivables, payables, and the ledger carry the branch that earned or spent it, so profit and loss reads per branch as well as org-wide, and the dashboards break down the same way. Label format is per branch too — PDF or ZPL per carrier, so thermal printers on the dock get what they need without changing what the back office prints.

Group companies under one account. Add a sister company from Settings → Organization and it's provisioned for you. The owner dashboard consolidates across the group, you can grant a teammate access to only the entities they work in, one person can use the same email address across entities, and the group bills as a single subscription.

A customer portal your customers can run themselves. Invite several people per customer, each setting up their own sign-in and able to recover it by email; see at a glance which customers have portal access; and cut someone off the moment they leave, ending their live session with it. Customers can also see the warehouse receipts linked to them and what those receipts will cost.

Delivery Orders are a record of their own, and the desk keeps up with the dock. Each order gets its own number, list, and detail page, addressed automatically to the segment's consignee, with the driver, vehicle, and planned delivery time editable while the shipment is open. Drop-off is gated on holding the pieces rather than on buying a label, a courier drop-off at a retail location raises the order for you, and hand-off time and chargeable weight are recorded when cargo actually moves. Voiding a label retires its tracking record and shrinks or cancels the pickup that went with it, half-finished dispatches are flagged on the board and the leg card, and dispatch controls retire once cargo is in transit.

Chase what the carrier owes you. Upload a CASS statement and work it AWB by AWB against what you expected to pay — Ortely proposes the matches, an overbill opens a query, and a correction closes that query when it lands. Cargo claims sit in one cross-shipment worklist, each recording which way it runs, and settling a claim moves the money the direction the claim implies or tells you why it can't.

Delivery dates you can stand behind. A rule-based business-day calendar drives transit maths, contract lanes carry their own transit time, and at booking Ortely takes the carrier's own committed date where the carrier gives one. A parcel leg shows the carrier's own ETA, and on-time reporting measures against the promise you made the customer.

Paperwork that reads like the real document. An air waybill can carry its own multi-line rate table, prints charges from the live ledger — including charges you want shown but never billed — and works out its own rate class. AWB stock has an operational home with a per-carrier low-stock threshold and numbers validated as you load them. Ocean shipments get sea waybill and verified-gross-mass cards, parcels get per-piece CN22/CN23, and a customs air manifest counts what's actually inside each ULD.

Warehouse receiving captures more of what happened. Record delivered-by company and driver separately, photograph damage or condition at receive, set packaging back to 'not recorded' when it wasn't known at intake, and bill storage by days on hand from a storage tariff.

See the live carrier price before you book the label. Booking shows the carrier's current price up front, so you confirm the exact amount and book with confidence. Multi-piece shipments book in a single call where the carrier supports it, their labels group under one master tracking number, and you can download, print, or open a label the moment it's bought — with the carrier's own response shown to you in plain terms.

Set the carrier on the segment; confirm it at booking. Each segment carries its own carrier, service, and account, and the buy screen confirms exactly what's set. The account a segment was rated against travels with it, the shipper's own account pays, you can switch a segment's service and re-rate, and segments show a readable service name.

Every quote segment keeps the exact address and person you picked. Type a door address and both the street and the contact stay with it; the contact you choose on a segment is the one the quote keeps; and each address carries its own contact through to shipping. Shipper and consignee now share one compact row.

Smarter carrier pickups. Segments collecting from the same dock on the same day ride one truck, and pickup times go out in the dock's local time so collections land on the right day. Pickup and drop-off are ready as soon as the label exists, with the pickup service pre-filled from the rate.

Warehouse charges flow into the quote and the invoice. Author charges on a warehouse receipt — auto-priced from your fee rates — and pull them onto a quote or a shipment, each tagged with its source and billed once. Warehouse receipts now have their own first-class list and home.

Automatic emails, unified — with a record of everything sent. Auto-sent documents and customer notifications run through one engine, and a new Sent view gives you a single history of every outbound message. Invoices send due and past-due reminders on a schedule, quotes and cargo-releases can trigger mail of their own, and each contact opts into the mail they want — all under your own sending identity.

Clearer shipment status. Status reflects your carriers' real commitments at a glance, and the activity timeline reads like a live feed of what's happened.

The quote builder, rebuilt around choice. Every segment now has a Costs card and a Browse Options picker, so you can see what each carrier would charge and pick per segment. Ortely flags when a pinned rate has gone stale and re-validates it at booking, so your quote always carries a current price. Draft quotes are editable in place — reopen one and recompose it — and quotes can be deleted, archived, and restored.

Quote from cargo already in your warehouse. Pull pieces from a warehouse receipt into a quote — all of them or just a subset — and pull from several receipts on one quote, each staying its own group. Accepting the quote moves those pieces onto the shipment, so one physical carton stays one record.

Every active shipment on one board. A new tracking board shows everything in motion across air, ocean, ground, and courier, with live status, the last milestone, ETA, and any open exceptions in a single view.

Air waybill updates arrive by email. Forward carrier telex messages to Ortely and they're read automatically, with every value a carrier sends captured and attributed to the segment it belongs to.

Richer UPS tracking. Delivery photos and the name of whoever signed are captured on delivery, and each connection now shows exactly which UPS APIs it's entitled to use, so you can turn on only what your account actually has.

Charge insurance and duty from your rate card. Value-based fees are scoped per segment, with DDU/DDP set on each segment so duties are billed only when the Incoterm says they're yours, and duties post as a pass-through.

Bill matching that does the first pass for you. Ortely suggests which bill lines match which shipment charges and lets you confirm the high-confidence ones in bulk, with any buy-side variance shown against what you quoted.

Cross-currency accounting on a real rate. A bill or invoice in a different currency than your books posts at a rate you provide, so your numbers reflect true exchange.

Customer email that looks like it's from you. Mail to your customers goes out under your own verified sending identity and letterhead, not Ortely's.

Pack and mark up each segment on its own terms. A piece can pack differently on each segment of a journey, and markup can be set per segment rather than once for the whole quote.

Shop live carrier rates right in the quote builder. Pull real-time rates for a segment, compare carriers in one picker, and pin the one you want — the pinned rate carries straight into booking, pre-filled. Rates are cached, so previewing a quote is instant, and each segment can draw its price from a contract or a live source as you choose.

Warehouse receipts get their own home. A full-width receipts list with filters, sortable columns, and paging, plus a dedicated detail page and a smoother receiving flow. Link a receipt to a quote and the manifest depth is worked out from its overpacks.

Pay many bills in a single run. Approve a batch of bills and disburse them together in one payment run, with a remittance advice PDF to send on. On the receivables side, you can now refund a customer's credit balance back out as cash.

Currency gains and losses, tracked for you. When an invoice or bill settles in a different currency than it was raised, Ortely now records the realized gain or loss automatically across both receivables and payables. Set your functional currency in FX settings, and turn on the optional auto-FX-rates add-on to keep rates current without touching them.

Withdraw or delete a quote. Pull back a quote when plans change — state-gated so you can't undo something already in motion, and it works from the customer portal too. New quotes now ask for a customer up front, and the quote's currency follows that customer.

Carrier connections, safer and simpler. Edit a stored carrier credential in place, connect FedEx without leaving the flow, and let export and import shipments pick the right FedEx account on their own.

A roomier, more consistent workspace. Pages now use the full width of your screen, tabs look and behave the same everywhere, and lists share a cleaner, unified header.
